American Golem
Horror Novel
$15.00
Love blossoms in the ruins of the American Dream…The “Last Worker” of an abandoned factory and the “Daughter of the Rust Belt” cross paths one fateful night in the dying manufacturing town of Calm, Ohio. Between them lies a great power that can either become a beacon of hope for America or thrust an entire nation deep into the darkness.
Sarah “Small Thing” Wozniak was a “Daughter of the Rust Belt” living with her widowed mother in the forgotten town of Calm, Ohio. All of her life she possessed the strange power to animate the inanimate; turning toys into tea-party friends and clouds into flying animals. Sarah uncovers her grandmother’s diary, chronicling her past in Nazis occupied Prague. Her grandmother was also supernaturally gifted and used those abilities to create a mystical creature of revenge in order to free her people; a monster made of earth called a Golem. Sarah meets Charlie Turner, a master craftsman, working as a security officer in the massive abandoned structures of factory row. Together they have the ability to construct a merciless avenger in hopes to bring back the American Dream.
For a Golem to be righteous in its actions the soil must also be pure. With over two-hundred and forty years of conquest, war, slavery, blood, and death in its history, what horror would rise from the Land of the Free?
American Golem is the first in a series of novels chronicling Mazz Hasan's "Anatomy of the Soul" saga.
